Aus dicker Wolle habe ich diesen Vollkreismantel handgenäht. Der Schnitt ist ganz einfach: Zwei Halbkreise mit Halsausschnitt, eine rechteckte Kapuze. Für das Rokoko typisch ist ihre Form: Die letzten ca. 10 cm der Hinterkopfnaht sind gerafft und zugezogen. Das wars :)Geschlossen wird er mit einem Band, an die vorderen Kanten und um das Gesicht kommt noch eine Dekoration. Es ist nur die Kapuze gesäumt und ich habe für alles keine drei Stunden handgenäht.
This full-circle cloak is hand-sewn of thick wool. The pattern is very simple: two half circles with a cut for the neck, a rectangular cape. This pattern is typical for the 18th century: The last 10 cm on the seam at the back of the head is gathered and drawn together. That's all :)
The cloak is closed with a ribbon and at the front seams and around the face a decoration will be added. Only the cape is furnished with a seam and I've sewn all in all not three hours by hand.
