Vor ein paar Tagen nach der Arbeit hat mein Inneres mich plötzlich in ein Modeschmuckgeschäft abbiegen lassen, das ich normalerweise wegen meiner Meinung nach zu hoher Preise meide. Aber es war Ausverkauf. Und da fand ich sie: metallene Spiralen, die man ins Haar dreht, in Miruvorblütenoptik! Ein gefundenes Fressen für mich und meine elbische Fürstentochter!
Zur Erklärung: Diese Blüte mit vier spitzen Blättern und goldenen Spitzen hat bei mir schon eine jahrelange Tradition. Sie findet sich im Wappen und vielen Kleidungs- und Schmuckstücken meiner Gwaloth und ist ein Symbol in meinem Hintergrundland Tol Aglarel, eine Elbeninsel, die vor allem durch das Wachstum von Miruvor, dem Elbenwein, zu Wohlstand gekommen ist. Und dessen Blüte sieht bei mir so aus. Längst ist sie auch zu meinem OT-Markenzeichen geworden.
Die Spitzen habe ich schicht mit Blattgold überzogen, ein nicht ganz leichtes Verfahren, wenn man gerade einmal zwei bis drei Millimeter Länge hat ;)
A few days ago after work my Inner Me led me suddenly into a costume jewellery shop which normally I pass because of the high prices in my opinion. But it was sale. And there I found them: metal spirals that you turn into the hair, in miruvor flower pattern! Just for me and my elvish soverein's daughter!
For explanation: This flower with three leaves and golden tips has a long tradition for me. I use it in the heraldry, clothing and jewellery of my Gwaloth and is a symbol of her background land Tol Aglarel, an Elvish island that prosperes especially because of the occurence of Miruvor, the elven-wine. And the flowers of those plants look like that for me. But long since it has become an OT label for myself.
The tips of the flowers I simply covered with leaf gold, a not so easy thing to do considered the size of two to three millimeters length ;)
