Nadelkissen / Pin cushion

Fertig!

A useful thing if you do a lot of textile handicraft and a lot of it in historical clothes is a pin cushion for the chatelaine. I know such fabric globes from other people but don't know how historic they really are.
Mine is made of modern printed cotton. I sewed two circles front on front together and gathered them to become a three-dimensional globe, then I turned the fabric to the right side. I filled it with cotton wool, put a loop into it and closed the seam. I sewed a golden ribbon onto the seam to cover it and the loose fabric left from the gathering.
