Schon vor langer Zeit habe ich diese Schnürbrust genäht. Ich habe sie schon sehr oft getragen und sie hat sich bewährt!
Die Schnürbrust ist nach keinem bestimmten Schnittmuster gemacht. Sie ist voll versteift mit Rattan, was den Komfort aber in keiner Weise mindert. Auch einen Waschgang in der Waschmaschine bei "Handwäsche" hält sie problemlos aus. Die Kanten sind mit Veloursleder eingefasst, was einiges an Arbeit im Gegensatz zu Schrägband erspart.
Wie man sehen kann, ein paar Kilo dürfte ich seit der Herstellung zugenommen haben...

The stays are not made after a certain pattern. They are fully boned with rattan which doesn't lower the comfort any bit. Even washing in the washing maschine is possible with the "hand wash" program. The edges are bound in velours leather which costs a lot less work than bias tape.
As you can see I might have gained some kilos since I made them...
